Grace to Wait...

In time of waiting on God you are hoping, believing and trusting God to come through and bring to reality your heart’s desires and dreams. When you are trusting God you ought to be assured that his love for us as His children is far beyond Human imagination, so knowing this we should believe that He can do all things.

The process of waiting on God can seem hard and often times we might doubt if he is really listening to those heartfelt prayers or desires but I can tell you that He listens but are you ready to listen to what He has to say about that situation? Are you ready to follow his guidance through the process? The time of waiting for one’s husband or wife is neither the time for self pity nor a time to feel less than whom God made you to be. Psalm 139 verse 14-NIV “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” See this verse of scripture just goes to show that whatever God creates is beautiful so thinking any less you are basically telling God otherwise.

In my time of waiting I came to realize that not only does God care about me but he is very sensitive to my nature as a person so that no matter what the situation is or the thoughts that run through my mind he will always give me a word to overcome that situation. Take for instance when I became fully aware that I wasn’t getting any younger….Hahaha I started to think well you know no man will want to date or be in a relationship with someone my age they’d rather be in a relationship with someone younger. God reassured with this verse of scripture” He has made all things beautiful in his time…”Ecclesiastes 3 verse 11-NIV and you know what from then on I started thinking better of myself and started taking the waiting process seriously.

I hope as you take time to wait on the lord for that amazing husband, take time to ask for his guidance and make sure you allow God to be leader not you but Him because it makes all the difference. He cares for us more than we can ever know or imagine” Cast all your anxiety on him because he care for you”….1 Peter 5 verse 7-NIV
