Hello...it's me

About a year ago I felt God speaking to me and wanting to share my journey of singleness so far. There has to be a reason for this season of waiting…right???

I was brought up in a Christian home and was taught to put my faith, trust and love in God. As a young child I always imagined myself to marry a wonderful man and have a family of my own. Growing up I never believed in praying to God for the man I was to marry and I lived in the fantasy world of prince charming. It wasn’t until I was in my 20s that I began to realize that my story is not mine to write. I started discovering that God has a plan for my life that I can not imagine or even begin to think possible. All I had to to was pray and believe that in His time the story that He has for my life would come to fruition.

3 years ago God provided me with an opportunity for a career change. Little did I know that this would be His way of bringing my dear friend (and blogging partner) Rachael Asabir into my life. We spend moments everyday sharing how God is working in us. Some days more than others, Rachael gets to listen to me pour out my heart and soul out to her regarding my singleness and how I can better learn how to follow faithfully in believing God’s plan. She has been such an encouragement to me in my time of waiting and also has provided words of wisdom in the low times.

With this blog I pray that you will be encouraged and find strength in our stories, the quotes, videos and verses that we share that have helped us in our times of waiting. By no means do we believe that what we are sharing will work for everyone however if it can provide you with encouragement, determination and just a little bit of faith…then part of our job is complete.
