Let Go...Let God!

Let Go and Let God! you have probably heard this countless times, but have you really allowed God to take charge? There were times in my life when I felt if God can't do what I was asking for right here and now, then I think I'll make it happen so I can be happy. It never went well mind you, because I ended up being miserable and sad. It was until I let God take his place in my life and work it out as He see fit, that was when I got my miracle.
Recently, I was looking unto God for something definite for a close family member and I kept on praying and asking God for different things on how things can be better. See I'm a type of person that likes to help people and fix things because I don't like seeing people sad or helpless. I was meditating one day the lord put on my heart Jeremiah 29 vs 11 and I meditated on this while interceding for this person but deep down I had my plans on how to fix it.God said to me "child don't, because I got this" so I backed down and allowed God to work it out, I did this and things started shaping up.
Your case might not be like mine, it could be you are asking God for a relationship, and every time you talk to God about it. However you also have your own way of working out. Trust me it never ends well because seeking things out when God himself hasn't "signed off" on it it ends up being a worthless effort. So let go of your worries, your own plans and allow God to work it out in his own timing. Trust me I know how it feels when you go on Facebook or Instagram and you see pictures of friends getting engaged or going on vacation with their boyfriends or fiances and you think when will it be my turn, you start telling God how unfair it is that even though that person didn't really want it yet they got. You go on and on about how unfair it is, instead of getting into all that, focus on God's promises because all he is waiting on is for you to let go of those thoughts and let Him work it out.
Are you waiting on that friend to change? Are you trying to fix him or her to fit your standards? Stop fixing it let God do it! Proverbs 21 vs 1-2 " In the lord's hand the king's heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him.A person may think their own ways are right but the lord weighs the heart." It is he who knows every heart, he knew us while we were still being formed so all you do is continue to love that friend, keep them in your prayers consistently but do not ever take God's place by fixing what He should fix.

So I encourage you today let go of what you are holding onto and let the lord God work it out so you can have an everlasting joy and peace because He loves you dearly and He is waiting for you to give it all to him. 1 Peter 5:7" Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you"
