Disappointed?....God can fix it!

In the last few years I've had to deal with various kinds of disappointments in different areas such as relationships, career, friendship etc. In these times I must tell you it wasn't so easy to trust God to fix the situation, because I always had my questions as to why I had to go through such a difficult situation. I stumbled on this passage of scripture Psalm 42 verse 5 " why my soul are you downcast? why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him my saviour and my God." The latter part is what I love the most because its an assurance that God will see me through whatever disappointment it is I'm going through.

There are certain times when we expect some significant things to happen, like a single lady expecting the guy to ask her out on a date or it could be we were waiting for a business proposal to be accepted. This doesn't happen and then we think oh well God doesn't care about me, well I want to tell you that God cares about you and the fact that the guy didn't ask you out on a date or that business proposal was rejected is because God has something better planned.

Disappointments shouldn't be viewed as God not caring or loving us, it should be viewed as a way of God saying be patient I have something better planned. Psalm 126 verse 1 " when the lord turned again the captivity of Zion we were like them that dream". This is another relevant scripture which I've come to love and its one of my favourites, this is because I've seen it happen to me not once not twice either and it was when I gave it all to God did it happen to me.

Have you been disappointed so many times, jilted by that boyfriend, fiancé or fiancée, that friend who betrayed your trust, that family member who doesn't think you're good enough. Be encourage and be rest assured that our lord and saviour Jesus cares about you and he thinks you're worth it, so give it all to God and he will turn your mourning into dancing.
