What if God left you alone ?

God is merciful, loving and compassionate that He sent us his son Jesus to die for our sins on the cross of Calvary. Now whether our sins was small or great He died for it all on the cross. Now imagine if God hadn't done this then things would have been so difficult for us as Christians because who will we cry to? Today's blog is a second part and a conclusion of the "Taking matters into your own hands" blog from a few weeks ago.

Often times we just want to do things our way because to us its the right way. There are certain relationships that you know that God is saying no to but you give God all the excuses and reasons you should pursue that guy or how he's so handsome and he fits all your "dream" guy qualities; hear this God is not letting you make that mistake by leaving you by yourself to suffer the consequences because you are his child an He Loves you so much. You go on and on about how sister A has the perfect life or sister B is married and has a beautiful family and you're thinking I can find a guy by myself....God is saying no wait for my timing!

I've had times when someone hurt me and all I can think of is how to give them a piece of my mind...lol but then I hear God saying child forgive them and I'll take care of it. A part of me want to go ahead and there are times I've ignored that sweet small voice and I can tell you this it ended up badly because I chose to do it my way, but God still loved me enough that when I asked for his forgiveness his loving arms was open to receive me. Psalm 139 verse 7-8 "Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there." See this scripture perfectly describes that once you've become a child of God, no matter what you do God will always be there in your time of obedience and disobedience.

The moment God leaves you alone, things will become tangled up and you end up in serious problem. Now the story of Samson and Delilah in the bible is another example of what happens when we neglect God's leading. Samson's Strength was in his hair and because of pleasure he gave that away! Judges 16:20-21 Then she called, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”He awoke from his sleep and thought, “I’ll go out as before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had left him. Then the Philistines seized him, gouged out his eyes and took him down to Gaza. Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain in the prison."

I encourage you today to constantly trust God, follow his leading even in difficult situations. But then you say but time is running out, how do I fix that son of mine, how do I let that friend know that they hurt me really bad or how can I fix my husband because he doesn't understand or God that guy might be the one and why not let me just tell him how I feel...God is saying I am with you and I will take care of it. Now don't get me wrong there are times when you should speak out gently and let that person know how they've treated you but don't go judging and bashing them because its not your place, Let God handle it because God will go all the way for you to handle it.
