Happy Sunday Grace to Be Loved community! This week will be a little different. To be honest, my week has been so crazy that I didn't have time to write a normal blog. I decided to share something different.

A couple of months ago, Steven Furtick from Elevation Church, interviewed Bishop T.D. Jakes about his new book Soar and building your vision from the ground up. It was enlightening and it gave a new perspective on things that we say and do each day.

The video is 1 hour and 44 minutes long so I recommend grabbing a drink and snack and getting comfy with a journal and I'm sure you'll be writing notes the whole time.

Before I post the link, I want to share with you five (of the many) notes I took when watching this interview. I'm looking forward to buying this book and then we can share some more later!

1. You are at your best when you're authentic to your core, and you have to be what your are...not what you're called.(what people call you, not your calling)

2. God gives you an opportunity and what you do with that opportunity is your gift to Him.

3. Your miracle is never in what you lost. It is always in what you have left.

4. When you start looking at what you have, stop grieving over what you lost. If you'd have needed it, you wouldn't have lost it.

5. Things that are tougher. Your resilience & your resistance to the irrelevance of things that have nothing to do with your destiny, are satanic distractions to move you away from where God has placed you.

I hope you enjoy this video as much as we did. Leave us a note with your favorite quote or topic that he discussed. We would love to get other viewpoints and hear how the Lord is speaking to you.
